To help you settle in and get to know your new home, Launceston By Foot - Local Walking Tours invites you to join us on a complimentary Heart of Launceston tour.

This 90-minute experience explores the city's past and present through its streets, stories and hidden spaces. From palawa Country to colonial history, local characters, culture and recommendations. Whether you have just arrived or have been here a few months, this tour is a chance to connect to place, learn something new, and maybe discover a few favourite spots along the way.

This complimentary tour is part of Launceston by Foot’s community project, proudly supported by the Great Regional City Challenge — a grassroots initiative that helps locals bring their ideas to life for the benefit of the city.

Our project, Welcoming Newcomers to Launceston, aims to help new residents feel more connected, informed and at home by offering a local-led introduction to the heart of the city.
